Maria Dimitrova

Maria has 4 years of experience working as an economic assessor for an HTA agency and has critiqued economic evidence in a range of disease areas, primarily in oncology. Additionally, Maria has experience providing health economic support to NHS Scotland for the appraisals of medical devices and other non-medicine health technologies and has authored or co-authored a number of publications.

Prior to her HTA agency experience, Maria spent 2 years in academia, assisting with the analysis of patient-level data from clinical trials.

Maria was awarded an MSc in Applied Economics, specialising in Health Economics, with Distinction in 2017 and an MA (Hons) in Economics in 2016 from the University of Aberdeen.
