As a senior management consultant in the innovation team, Richard uses his experience of working directly with universities, government organisations, start-ups and large corporates to understand market challenges and opportunities. He then identifies and develops, and enables others to identify and develop, innovative solutions to those challenges. He is an experienced project and programme manager who develops tools, systems, and frameworks to successfully manage innovation initiatives to ensure that they create maximum impact.
Richard has a BSC (Hons) in Microbiology and Virology from the University of Warwick and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Analytical Chemistry from the University of Essex.
