Regina has experience in the management, conduct, and critique of systematic reviews of healthcare interventions on a diverse range of topics such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic pain, diabetic macular edema, rheumatoid arthritis, and oncology. She has expertise in investigating the epidemiology and burden of health conditions, guidelines for their treatment, and clinical effectiveness of health care interventions. Her interest lies with systematic reviews of rare diseases and the practical and methodological challenges they present.
She has worked as part of an Evidence Review Group providing single technology appraisals for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Regina spent 9 years working in cancer research, developing and evaluating novel gene therapy vectors for prostate cancer.
