Rachel joined Mtech Access in January 2024 with over 8 years’ experience in consultancy bringing with her expertise in designing, performing and managing non-clinical (economic) systematic and targeted literature reviews for the primary focus of supporting health technology assessment across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology and rare diseases.
Rachel’s experience extends to reviewing and developing UK-specific and global health economic/budget impact models and dossiers for NICE, SMC and NCPE, as well as having expertise in sourcing country-specific data inputs to support economic models, via a range of methods including literature reviews, time trade-off studies and structured expert elicitation. Rachel has previously acted as an economic assessor on the Scottish Medicines Consortium’s New Drugs Committee (NDC) for NHS Scotland for a number of years.
Rachel holds a master’s degree in Health Economics and Decision Modelling from the University of Sheffield.
