Since joining Mtech Access in October 2021, Edyta has completed her MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy at the University of Birmingham and become a key member of the Health Economics Team. Edyta has contributed to a variety of projects, such as designing de novo cost-effectiveness analyses, reviewing and adapting existing models, and building a variety of budget impact and capacity models. She has worked across different disease areas, including ophthalmology, diabetes, and rare diseases.
Previously, Edyta worked within the field of systematic reviews as part of an Evidence Review Group for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), contributing to single technology appraisals and diagnostic reviews. Prior to that, she spent 2.5 years in Cedar (Health Technology Research Centre), where she was responsible for leading the stream of rapid evidence reviews across a wide range of therapeutic areas for the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, and actively contributed to the variety of work provided by NICE.
Edyta has a strong genetics and biochemistry background (BSc and MSc) and recently completed her second master’s degree in Health Economics and Health Policy at the University of Birmingham.
