Sam has 15 years’ experience within market access and health economics; over this time, she has specialised in the development of value communications for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, ranging from health technology assessments to global value dossiers and value proposition development, publications and customer-facing leave pieces.
Having worked with the majority of the top 25 pharma companies and numerous medical device companies, Sam understands the varied challenges in getting a product to market and can offer strategic advice across the product life cycle. In addition, Sam has more than eight years’ experience in project management and is accomplished at liaising with multiple stakeholders and managing projects to time and budget. In a previous role, she managed a team of 10 consultants. Sam has worked across a wide range of disease areas, with particular expertise in diabetes, oncology, cardiology, DVT, wound care, hip replacement, transplantation and psoriasis.
Sam has a PhD in neuropharmacology from the University of London and spent five years as a postdoctoral researcher in the USA, before returning to the UK to pursue a career in market access.
