Rory joined the Health Economics team in 2022 as an Associate Health Economist after completing his MSc in Data Science and Analytics at the University of Leeds.
During his MSc he took on various projects such as predicting cancer mortality rates for unseen US counties using Machine Learning models and analysing trends in NHS dental statistics. For his Dissertation he used survival analyses to investigate time to arrest serial killers active in the US over the 20th Century. Rory also has a BSc in Economics from the University of Leeds.
In his role as an Associate Health Economist Rory is a support modeller in cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, ensuring the team delivers projects to a high standard to clients. Rory provides support to many teams across the company, undertakes statistical analyses, model validations and technical report writing.
