Phil brings considerable experience as a transformation leader to complex healthcare challenges. He worked internationally in the Pharmaceutical, Medtech, and digital industries before taking a leadership role in the NHS. Phil led the transformation of Dorset’s NHS organisation to deliver one of the first ICSs. This included one of the first fully aligned digital systems, the transformation of the local hospital system, and over £500million investment for system change. Phil was an active member of the AHSN board and chaired the Applied Research Collaborative. At Mtech Access, Phil chairs the board and leads innovation. His current focus is on strategic collaboration between industry and the NHS, digital transformation of Pharmaceutical and Medtech commercialisation, and building effective partnerships.
Phil has a PhD from the University of Bath and an MBA from the Open University Business School.
