Pat has a keen interest in primary care which is where she has spent most of her career firstly as a practice manager when she successfully developed a small GP practice in North Tyneside into a large GP fundholding group practice. She then went onto work on service development and pathway redesign at a Strategic Health Authority level before working as Director of Primary Care for a US health organisation building a portfolio of APMS practices across the UK. In the last 7 years she has worked for her own consultancy business on a wide range of NHS projects in North London including developing GP networks, GP federations, and more recently, primary care networks in North West London. She is interested in workforce challenges and has experience in organisational development.
Pat has an MBA from Durham Business School and a range of other qualifications including being a productive general practice practitioner and a managing successful programmes practitioner.
