Patrick is an experienced Cost accountant, and Service improvement teaching associate. He is committed to understanding costs as a lever to provide a better view of value. Given that his life is dominated by individual transactions, the majority of which are not covered fully by income, he believes part of his role is to focus on patients and changing how we provide healthcare. In particular, how do we recognise the full cost of conditions such as obesity, frailty, and loneliness upon physical health?
Patrick is a standing committee member of Diagnostic Assessment Committee, an associate member of QSIR teaching faculty, and a member of strategic council of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Obesity.
