Anthony has worked as a consultant in health economics and market access for 20 years, specialising in health economic and budget impact modelling, providing expertise in model design and development, review and critique, and strategic input.
Anthony has developed models to successfully support over 40 separate health technology assessments across the UK, Ireland, and other global markets, helping clients achieve national reimbursement for their products. He has also developed a broad range of innovative payer-facing tools, across multiple platforms, to support local market access, recognising the challenges of presenting academically robust analyses in a pragmatic and transparent format.
Over his career, Anthony has provided market access support to the majority of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies at all stages of the product lifecycle, and has extensive experience in the medical technology sector, working with leading multinational businesses through to smaller enterprises. Having worked on a substantial number of products across a broad range of indications, including pain, diabetes, HIV, hepatitis, venous thromboembolism, and oncology, Anthony has developed an in-depth understanding of the market access challenges posed by global healthcare systems.
Since 2007, Anthony has also worked as a visiting lecturer at City, University of London on the master’s programmes in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare and in Health Economics, where he teaches modelling techniques for economic evaluations.
Anthony has an MSc in Health Economics from City, University of London and a BSc in Mathematical Studies from the University of Southampton.
