Libby joined Mtech Access in 2021 after graduating from the University of Manchester with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. An interest in medical technologies developed from her second-year dissertation, which compared the efficacy of various treatments for chronic wound healing. Her interest in systematic reviews stemmed from her final year project in the field of the history of science, technology and medicine. This project consisted of two literature reviews focusing on the modern plague pandemic, encompassing germ theory, early bacteriology, plague transmission theories and colonial politics.
Libby contributes to projects across a variety of therapeutic areas and is involved throughout the systematic review process, including protocol development, publication screening, data extraction and report writing.
